Activity 1: 500 brochures and posters in Turkish and Arabic will be prepared.
Activity 2: A workshop titled "Enterprising Idea Development and Empathy" will be carried out with the participation of the women living in Rize and the Syrian refugee women there. In this workshop, the women living in Rize and the Syrian refugee women there will come together and, thus, will brainstorm about creation of a joint living and working area. As a result of this brainstorming, the opportunity of the Syrian refugee women in Rize to be able to find a job will increase, and their employment will be possible. Thus, a glimmer of hope for their common economic interests will strengthen their unity. In this way, these people from two different culture will live peacefully in Rize with the empathy to be arisen as a result of this workshop. By this means, they will understand each other well and, thus, get rid of negative thoughts. Turkish women and Syrian refugee women will increase their knowledge and skills about the primary Human Rights as social gender, right to life, right to asylum. In addition, this workshop will provide opportunity to gather data for the high-budget employment project that will be presented to the EU.
Activity 3: Information materials to be used in this workshop will be prepared in Arabic and Turkish each in 60 copies before the workshop titled "Enterprising Idea Development and Empathy" is made.
Activity 4: Interviews will be made with the representatives of NGOs operating in Rize, public institutions and organizations, and Directorate of the Immigration Authority in Rize. In these interviews, the workshop outcome and assessment report that will be prepared within the scope of the second activity will be shared, and wishes and demands of the Syrian refugees will have conveyed to the related institutions and organizations. About 15 institutions and organizations and NGO representatives will be interviewed.
Activity 5: A very comprehensive assessment report for the workshop will be prepared within the scope of the second activity.
